A bit of Gaussian seems to me to ameloriate the problem to the point 
where it doesn't detract. I don't think anyone would notice unless 
specifically looking.

As to the bright orange things, taming with bits of Highlight, Hue and 
Gaussian Blur is an alternative to cloning.
