50-250 does outperform 65-200 at 180-200mm. Nevertheless, I confess that
65-200 is a very surprising and exceptional lens, which is usually
underrated.
I have both 65-200 and 50-250, the same size, similar weight, both
extremely good performers. But, I just cannot part with any of them...
Nor can I with the 70-210/2.8-4 Ser1 Vivitar. Vivitar is fast, 65-200
*is* really better and slower, and 50-250 is the best, and slowest.
Am I nuts??
OMer (Uh-huuh!.. the name explains it all...)
