In fairness though, my friend bent the pins on his wife's brand new Rebel
the first time he used it. He inserted the card ever so slightly askew. I
was able to fix the pins with very fine needle-nosed pliers such that I got
the card back in, but they never took it out again i.e. used the cable from
then on.
