Well, that idea did not work out. I couldn't find anything to connect to
here at home, so I took the laptop with me and drove down to the corner, which
is a short distance. There I found that only one eatery, a shotgun Pizza Hut,
had any wifi, and it was terribly weak even from just across the street. At
the coffee shop I go to I can pick up the Taco Bell from across the street with
adequate strength for a good connection
Lots of residental networks, though, and some with cute names such as
"This LAN is Your LAN" and CIA Surveillance Van". So I at least had a little
fun.
