Nope. After the other work, I thought a further touch of deconvolution might
help. I adjusted opacity of the FM layer
and painted the specular highlights further down.
There's no cookbook for this stuff. It's not science, and if not Art, certainly
craft and maybe art sometimes. I was
just watching something in which a woodworker was fitting a hand made, half
arch door to a cabinet. He put in up where
it was to fit, then put it back down on his bench and started shaving or
sanding one part of the edge. The final bit of
FM was like that, just a tiny adjustment, not like the rough cut of the first
application.
