Yes, I do like the 35mm lens too. I have called it the "golden" lens for stereo photography. Most vintage stereo cameras had 35mm lenses (but they were considered "normal" since the image is smaller than "full frame") and my all time favorite stereo camera made from two Konica Hexar cameras has 35mm lenses. But 40mm and 35mm are not too far apart :) George -----Original Message----- From: Ken Norton Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2011 12:58 PM To: Olympus Camera Discussion Subject: Re: [OM] Panny 20/1.7 I prefer a slightly wider lens, like 35mm on fullframe 35mm. For event/people shooting it seems to be just about perfect as it gets you in close to that one body lengthworking distance. ag -- Ken Norton ken@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.zone-10.com -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ |
