A while back I started collecting a few of the weirder digital
cameras from the 1994-99 period.
Recently I've been buying 2-4mp cameras off ebay - things like the
Oly C-350 I got this week for US$20 in the box with all the bits. I
discovered that they make great presents - one friend was annoyed
that her mother was emailing her photos and she didn't have a camera
to reply - now she does and 3mp is more than enough. They're great
gifts for children too - they learn that fones make lousy cameras!
If you target the lesser brands like Oly (unpopular because of the xD
card), Samsung, Ricoh, Casio, Fuji then there are real bargains out
there.
Disposable digital!
