As to the 85/2, I haven't read the entire thread, but I think the ultimate
bargain lens that provides the best price/performance ratio in the entire
line is the 100/2.8. The 85/2 and 100/2.8 are essentially the same
identical lenses with almost identical bokeh and sharpness characteristics.
The 85/2 quite possibly has the edge in some circumstances, but the 100/2.8
is the real sleeper lens. It is THE lens that keeps me in Olympus. Oh, and
it sings on the E-1.
