Because we disapprove of people who can't speak English of course. :)
However, we tend not to specify that the Paris we're mispronouncing
is the one in France (wouldn't want to confuse it with the one in
Texas now would we?). And where are these odd places Eye-rack and
Veet-nam that you guys keep referring to? And as to what you do to
the English language...
