As I have said on many occasions.....OM1n ROCKS....... There is something
about the build quality and "feel" that is lost on later models. Wind on is
like a knife through butter. It (They I have 4) will be working long after
the digital displays on later models have disolved to digital mush.
HOWEVER...I shoot mostly B+W...and like to take my time. If I was shooting
colour slides only then I would probably appreciate the spot metering of the
OM3 more.
Also I grew up on an OM1n..it is like second nature.
In rank order..OM1n , 2n, 4t, 3, 4, and 2spot in the bin ! Of course if
someone offered me a cheap 3ti....all bets are off!
Ducking for cover...........Regards,.......John Duggan, Wales, UK.
