The OM-2 (not 2n) also does something similar. If the TTL flash is
insufficient, the shutter stays open until enought light is measured for
a proper exposure. I believe you can do the same thing with the 2n (and
other OMs?) by blocking the flash ready contact on the shoe. With the
3Ti, you can exactly control the ratio, with the 2 you can be sure to
get an adequate exposure.
