Acer;
30 seconds at f/1.8 on 400 ASA sounds perfect for constellation photos.
Of the lenses you listed, the 50/1.8 is the best bet. Try stopping down
to f2 1/2 for bracketing
3.5 too slow, 1.4 not as good at open apertures.
