I used to use this method a lot when I had just one body and changed films a
lot. I recently swapped a film from my OM-10 to the 4-T mid-roll and had no
problems - in fact the pro lab I took it to didn't even see a difference in the
frame gaps. (there is a slight difference, but not much)
If you're afraid of shooting over a frame, just advance one more when you
re-load.
