Nice! The bridge is icing on the cake!
Thanks!
Bridges of that design a scattered all along the Calif. coast. It all started with the Bixby Bridge, a few miles South
of Carmel.
This is the Russian Gulch Bridge, just North of Mendocino. And here's what it looks like looking the other way.

That is a lovely view, in gorgeous weather.
Thanks!
And no smoke.
The most important part!
Typical winter weather between storms there. Most mornings overcast, with various amounts of sun in the afternoons. That
particular afternoon was really beautiful to look at. Tricky to dress for. Out in the wind at the edge, zip up the down
jacket. A few steps later, unzip as the sun takes over. Hiking up a trail on the S. side of the canyon behind the
bridge, it's quite chilly, but by the top, it's take the jacket off and stuff it in a day pack. Back down in the canyon,
approaching the mouth, and a cold wind means jacket back on.
Really beautiful day.
