Totally OT - I visited Columbia one time, to sell a flying club airplane
that was needing an overhaul, both engine and fabric. Before we left, in
another airplane, the dealer, Jim Hamilton, had his crew waxing the
airplane for a quick sale. That kind of soured me on the integrity of
dealers. But, they named the airport for him................. :-[
I did a search recently, out of curiosity, and found that the airplane
is still flying, somewhere in the Midwest.
