Dear OM afficionads,
I have a question concerning the OM 1n:
I have one OM 1n where the exposure meter is locked, when the main switch is
turned to off.
I have another example, where it floats around and still measures, when the
switch is in off position.
How are yours ?
Was there any change in design ?
If it is not locked and this is a defect, is the cause complex or easy to fix ?
There's a Blast from the Past. I think the last time I actually used an OM-1 was the 'round the world traveler. OM-2n
for most of my film years, then OM-4 ...
The OM-1 I just tried* acts exactly the same whether I switch to Off or remove the battery with it On, the needle just
lies at the bottom. My guess is that the switch is defective.
And nice to hear from you! :-)
Turned On Moose
Well, yeah, I do have one at hand, just in case. ;-)
