I'll try the Wi-Fi setup again out of curiosity to see if I can get it
working. But, for this application, I think time lapse is the best
solution. In either case I have to set up the tripod near the culvert
pipe they use for sunning. That will scare them off for a good long
time. With the time lapse solution I can specify a start time (for
example, an hour after I place the camera on the tripod) and then set it
to run for an hour or two taking shots at, say, one every 5 minutes.
I've never known turtles to do energetic anything unless it's escaping
into the water when they spot me from 100 feet away. I hope I haven't
already lost my chance. With the warming weather heating the water they
may not be so interested in sunning themselves out of the water.

Works with tablets, too, as long as there is an Oly app for them. I
don't personally care whether you use it, just thought it might be
quicker and with better results with less time and bother than a bunch
of time lapse shots. If the turtles stay quiet most of the time they are
sunning, the time lapse solution might be great.
