Interesting looking on ebay, a good condition OM 180mm/2.8 goes for about
200-300.
The Minolta A mount 200mm/F2.8 apo, which is well regarded and of course
autofocus on Sony, go for 600-1000.Seem mostly available from sellers in JP.
The Nikons are uncommon, but price higher, the Canons less and there are more of
them.
So I just bought a Canon for $159.
It is the IF later design version, looks in good condition from pix.
Figured I could resell at about same price if I don't like it.

Don't know about Nikon and Canon but I did found CA on the Tamron 180/2.5 I
had.
If I need a technically good lens I will get the Canon 70-200 IS, the test
results looked very promising. But there are some intangible quality on the
Zuiko, I will not replace it with anything else :-)

Interesting comparing lenses of same vintage from Nikon and Canon.
Seems the Nikon 180mm f2.8 gets the nod, but the later version of Canon's
200mm FD mount has internal focus and is also pretty good.
Apparently they both also have high CA like Zuiko.
The IF is reputed to make the CA a little worse in the Canon, but the design
was a major makeover from the earlier version so hard to know if i was just
the increase in # of elements.
The Canon Fdn 200mm lens seems to be a little cheaper used, than both Nikon
or OM, as there were tons made.
