It was my assumption (perhaps erroneous) that henceforth PS and LR or 
their upgrade versions will no longer be available as something I can 
buy.  You say: "If they continue their past practice with LR..."  Why do 
you assume that?  Why would I not also assume that they will continue 
their past practice with PS and I can continue as I always have?
If I'm happy with the function of PS6 and I can get a copy of the most 
recent ACR by occasionally popping $75 for a Lightroom upgrade I'd be 
happy and not bother with the $10/month tax.
