Very disappointing! I figured we be getting ready to have an OT
discussion about '56 to '58 Studebaker Golden Hawks. Yes, I know there were
other,
however these Hawks were pretty nice rides. Bill Barber

Sorry about this chaps, but a few of you are good at repairing machines, I
believe.
I have a McC leaf blower/vacuum, the 320BV, which I bought in Tampa in
about 1989. The pull cord has snapped and I have it apart to replace it. But
the nut holding the impeller is tight, and the impeller is plastic, so it’
s tricky to use a screwdriver to hold it against the nut rotation. Has
anyone a better idea, or a better way to get at the cord?
The machine is too old for there to be instructions online, but I’m loath
to chuck it away, and it’s tricky to bump-start a leaf blower . . .
