Didn't I mention here before my experience with a Panny Blu-ray player? It was
returned in a couple of days. The Samsung
that replaced it has been far better.
And yes, everything nowadays is a computer; if the firmware is poor, the device
is poor, and that on the Panny was poor.
The Sammy has yet to maintain Wi-Fi connection, or something, to my desktop to
stream video from the HD, but works fine
streaming Netflix and Hulu+ wirelessly from the router. And is FAR, FAR better
at playing a variety of video formats
from a USB device.
