My late father used to make Rhubarb and Ginger jam many years ago. More Rhubarb
in the ordinary jam, More Ginger in the jam / marmalade destined for toast. Hmm
I thing I might make a batch this year...bugger my type 2 Diabetes... :-O>

As I wrote, jellies in the UK are sweet concoctions based on gelatine, although
some preserves without solids are called jelly.
My wife makes many jams throughout the year, our favourite being "Muddled
Berry" jam. She also makes the best marmalade I have ever tasted :-)
