But Nikon later realized the error of their ways and offered an extended
range that could take ISO down to 100 from 200. The newly announced
D800 has base ISO of 100 and, ala Canon 5D, offers an extended range
going down to ISO 50.
Sorry, I still see it as a fundamental design error.
