Nope, I have the Z. 50F2 and you can test away next visit. It seems to
have a particulaly nice rendering at non macro distances.

No, ( but couldn't find the thread with a quick look) and I am sure
your analysis at higher mags is correct.
As an aside as long as we are on 90mm macro/close focusing, could not
resist the CV90/3.5 in OM mount.
It was available from Sweden LNIB. Not sure why I "needed" it. It is
APO and the colors can be "jewel" like especially greens for some
reason.
It has nicer bokeh than the Zuiko 85/2 at 10 ft so I use it for that
situation wide open. It does go to 1:3.5 but the VivS1 is better at
that mag, but much bigger to lug. Ian at SrbGriturn has offered to
construct a Canyon to OM adapter for me (non infinity of course). Now
that would be an oddball one so the Canyon one may have been a wiser
choice, but I couldn't do it. Big Foot is now happy to have his
smaller brother reunited
on the same shelf along with the big brother. We could have a real
tough time with a detailed analysis to compare the Z. 85/2, Z90/2,
Z. 100/2.8 viv S1 90mm, CV90mm. (The zuiko 85 though almost never
left home on a trip.)
I think all would have their niche.
I have my eye on the the new Sigi 180 OS macro (for a critter chasing
lens) that is not shipping yet. May need to get that adapter.
The CV 90 SL11 in Canyon mount is just kinda ugly though the optics
are identical.

Mighty purty, No?
When I gaze with glowing admiration at the CV90 mounted on the 4T,
have received a quizzical look from the CFO.
It seems to say "perhaps I married a nut case." As they say at the
Moose's, at least it's not heroin.
