Hmmm,
There was a thread a couple years ago in FM alt lens forum with dueling
images with VivS1 90mm and Zuiko 90 f2. I have the former. The
compulsive pixel peepers had their say.
Wide open and stopped down a bit at lowish mags my distinct
recollection is that the Zuiko indeed had a superior rendering.
The owner of both lenses was clearly convinced as well. I think when
the conditions are such for the Zuiko 90 to do a nice job it is just
tremendous and worthy of the cult status it enjoys. I was skeptical of
a discernable superiority until then. Nothing wrong with the vivS1 (or
the Tok) though.
