Ah, a very clever backstep there. At the very beginning of this heated
discussion I clearly stated that pitch controls airpeed, and that power
controls climb and descent, which you took issue with. I even described how
you perform a descent at a 3:1 profile by simply disconnecting the altitude
hold (trim untouched) and reduce the power by 500º on a C-130. You then
claimed it was a technique for autopilots only. Now you are repeating
almost exactly what I had said back then, that pitch (atttitude) controls
speed and power (throttle) controls climb and descent.
Nice try. I wonder how many times I've seen this in the past. Hmmm...
Darn, ran out of fingers already. Fortunately, the abacus is within easy
reach.
