Yes, it has been hotter than hell here this summer. We are enjoying a
cool breeze this morning. Wish the high pressure system that has been sitting
on top of Texas for months would go somewhere else and let some of the

Down here in Phoenix (actually Tempe) I've had a grand total of 2.05" for
the year. That's about a third to a half of our average rainfall for this
time of year, annual totals being around 8.4". And we've tied or broken
more temperature records than I care to think of. One of those is we just
had the hottest August ever recorded. All other record months were set in
July.
