Yes, the terminology in English may be confusing. Is "Convection/Broiler
Toaster Oven" better? :-) This is what I
have.

In fact, it also makes better toast than the simple, purely mechanical old one
it replaces. You can see from the
description that this, and many other competitive models, is defined in
horizontal size by the 12" pizza. Perhaps the
vertical dimension is determined by the standard roasting chicken.

You'd think such simple, old technology would all work about the same, but it's
not the case, in my experience. From
reading user reviews, one may learn things like how the crumb tray comes out
and whether it easy to clean. In this
specific case, I knew before I bought it that the one ergonomic flaw is the
handle design.
The handle itself doesn't get hot, but if you open it with fingers entered down
from the top, it's easy to touch the
metal door trim as the door opens, which can cause a burn. The trick is to
always put fingers in from the bottom. The
thing about reading reviews is, I knew that before buying, made a specific
decision that it wasn't a big enough problem
to offset the overall advantages of this model - and no one has been burned yet.

Yup.
