I hope that none of my comments about the sensor dust caused anyone to
be turned off from what I had clearly stated I thought to be a good
deal. The sensor had some dust but it was inconsequential for shooting
at f/11 or wider and probably for most normal photography at f/16 or
even f/22 where it would likely not be noticed.
Chris's statement about checking his image at 200% for dust before
sending it off only told me that he may not know how to critically
evaluate the sensor for dust. His shot may look just fine yet still
show the amount of dust shown on the 5D shot when critically tested
against an out of focus image of a clear blue sky at small apertures.
Once again, for anybody who wanted a 5D that was a good deal.
