Hi Phillipe,
Scanning my complete slide collection is not an option for me, at the moment at
least, and certainly not with my current scanner and its 4-slide holder. I just
don't have the time for it and it still wouldn't solve the problem of where to
store the original slides safely. At the moment I scan only in order to print
or share photographs via email.

Well, I selected those I thought could be of some interest , and did
that - 4 in a row while doing others things - you get used to doing it
after the first hundreds ...
No experience whatsover in other archival systems.
What I know is that slides tend to fade, get fungus, or have people
looking like russian rabbits with red eyes after an unpredictable length
of time.
