Ken,

Yours is pretty much the system I am moving to myself. After years of 
storing slides in metal boxes (many of which I inherited from my father 
as well.) I am moving to archival storage sheets. Most of my dads slides 
date back to the 60s and are Kodachromes in great shape BTW.

Once I get done with the slides stored in the metal boxes I will move to 
the two cardboard boxes as full of slides in their original cardboard 
and plastic lab boxes!
