How is that possible? The projected geometry of a scene captured
by a quarter-area sensor on a 12mm lens (e.g. four thirds) should be  
exactly
the same as a 24mm on an OM?

Perhaps you are just inclined to point your four thirds bodies up more?
Or you are using your 35mm shift lens :-)
