Jez ......... Not mentioned to date is that southern Ontario produces some
excellent red and white table wines. Along with the excellent red and whites
from the Okanagan Valley in south central British Columbia [our home for
several years in the 80's and 90s] these wines are every bit as good as the
best from California, Washington and Oregon, and Chile.
Your hosts in Ontario might find time to visit a winery and have you enjoy a
sample of what the Canadian wine business has offer.
