Yep, I grew up very close to the Niagara escarpment. There is a very
narrow micro-climate that is particularly good for some wines.
The "icewines" have been noted for many moons (too sweet, IMO, but it
is a dessert wine IIRC) but the vineyards clearly are becoming quite
skilled. I sometimes bring back a bottle or two.
