If you read the reviews on the B&H listing for the Nikon AS-15 you will 
see some people complaining that it doesn't fire all the time.  The 
problem is not the AS-15 but sync cords which have become loose due to 
the poor design of PC connectors.  Anybody using PC cords should have 
one of these tools which re-centers the connector pin at one end of the 
tool and tightens the connector sleeve on the opposite end.  Recommended
