I forgot to mention that since Faststone is free and IMO a very useful 
addition to any computer (it displays RAW files just fine, slideshow 
etc.) why not just have the 3rd party use it to view your photos and 
skip the batch conversion forever?  I add FS in a separate folder to 
CD's of photos I send to friends with the option to clic and install it 
or not.
