That principle only applies in shipping to and from Australia - and
goes double for NZ of course. :-)
So this buyer declined paying for insurance despite clear advice.
Isn't claiming that there was clear damage in transit (box).
Claims significant body damage but didn't claim immediately.
Hasn't provided evidence of transit damage.
Hasn't implied that it was despatched in damaged condition. (?)
Left it for three months to demand a refund.
We have an expression or two for that situation down here -
1. 'He's having a lend of you.'
2. 'Tell him he's dreaming.'
The polite version is that he has exceeded any reasonable commercial
or private time limit. He's missed his opportunity.
After that delay, he can't even leave negative feedback.
NB. I always er on the side of kindness when these problems occur but
I would not in this case.
