I think we're talking about the same two lenses. The esif calls the earlier
one 80mm/F4 Man and the later one 80mm/F4 Auto (the auto is what I meant by
second version).

Taking a little time to check on things: Paul Schings MC list shows serial
nos. in the 200,000 range so Olympus probably did indeed have two versions
of the 80mm/F4 auto.
