Pretty much par for the course. It's a special effect where the
centre is the real area of attention and the edges just reinforce the
overall effect. The fish messes up the far edge areas so much that
such measurements are not really sensible. And it depends very much
how close to the edge it is - like a synagogue, there are no corners!
