Yes, manual focus is possible and in my experience they are better than many
AF lenses from other manufacturers. The electronic focusing ring is very
smooth and very responsive. For E-1 there is external switch to change
between AF and MF mode, for E-300 you have to change the mode inside the
menu screen which need to push few buttons. Of course you can use OM Zuiko
which is manual only :-)
