Chuck, please send along a test image and another with this PWP filter
applied to that test image. I'll then run IS on the sample and mount the
two resultant sharpened images (including your PWP job) as a couple of A-Bs
per the USM test on my site.
Within certain bounds (it's impossible to be sure the "same" degree of
treatment has been applied, you realize that of course) we'd then know more
about it.
On its face that sounds more refined than what I saw in the PSP v8 demo,
which, as I recall, was basically the same filter used for v7 of that product.
