I sent the following message to Tris earlier with image attached. I
assume he will post it with the others on his site.

Instead of dealing with another image I have simply taken your color
corrected version of the sample image of the bird from your site and run
it through PWPro's advanced sharpen with parameters radius = 2 and
amount = 93%. The histogram settings are the defaults determined by PW
Pro so I didn't have to do any more fiddling than I would with ordinary
unsharp masking. The image (AdvSharpPWP2x.jpg) is attached.
As you can see, it has very nearly duplicated the image you produced
with Fred Miranda's IS action. In particular, the smooth green
background is still smooth without the mottling introduced by more
conventional sharpening algorithms.
