Curious. I would have expected a fall-off in light, not a fall-off in
resolution, especially with a sensor 1/2 the size of a 35mm frame.
In the future, having no knowledge of the technology involved, I would expect
sensors to be changed to be more accommodating to oblique rays.
Unless cameras start imitating bees eyes with many lenses being used. This is
much more practical with digital than with film!
