Unless you're making photos with black light, I can't think of any
reason to look for dust outside of the visible spectrum.
The first thing to know about dust is that almost every lens has some,
especially macro lenses that pull air in when they extend the
barrel.
The second thing is that it usually is harmless.
Dust on elements?
As my old optical designer used to say:
"Lenses is for looking through, not looking at!".
Dust is like the H2G2 commentary on planet Earth.
