Hello everybody,
I have been using my newly acquired OM-3 for about two weeks now and I did
not miss my OM-1n yet. Spot metering makes a huge difference, as well as the
fact that the camera has the same form factor and lay-out as the 4.
Generally, I even like it more than my OM-4Ti... It is a joy to use this
fully mechanical camera with its snorring shutter.
Back to basics, but with a very nice light meter. This camera makes me think
about pictures and light and composition and DOF. With the OM-4 I am too
much tempted to put it on auto and shoot aperture priority. So all in all I
am very happy with the OM-3 and I feel it makes my OM-1n obsolete.
Iwert.
Ps: anybody has an ok OM3Ti he or she would like to swap for let's say two
OM4-Ti's? I am a bit of a titanium fan.
