My comment was based on what the camera is designed to take in it's memory
slots.
There is a PCMCIA adapter available right now from Olympus. This makes it
easy offload your XD cards into a laptop. I have not yet seen a CF adapter,
but based on dimensions it is within reason to expect one to become
available.
With an adapter the E series of cameras would be able to take XD cards.
