The new memory card you are referring to is the XD.
The C-730UZ, C-5050 and C-50 all take this card. I do not know how it is
implemented on the other two but in the 730 it slips into a little notch in
the Smart Media slot. This solves the problem of SM cards only going to 128
meg.
