Well, I love my 50mm/1.8MC, it's sharp.
I was thinking that if the 50mm/2 was just as sharp/sharper, I'd give up
some weight for the ability to do general photography as well as macro
in the same lens. That would be great.
I do a lot of general photography.. I used quite a bit of 28mm for most
of my trips, but I've started to feel it's a bit wide, and so my 50mm
has been on my camera for most of my trips as of late..
So more general work then Macro. But I do like the f1.8 speed, I can
shoot indoors without a flash most of the time.
