Cross off the "evenly lit" part and you'd be right. Tom I just saw an example of a shot in one of the TOPEs and I see what you mean. The previous shots I saw must have had the dark corners cropped or the subject matter did not call attention to it. I wonder if it is worse than other mirror lenses. Gary Reese's sample of the 500/8 rated an "A" for vignetting which way better than most lenses wide open. Hmm.
