Subject: Re: [OM] Zuiko 200/5 ?
Both are nice but what's the real world difference between
an F/5 and a F/4?... The F/4 with 55mm ring is a compact
and useful telephoto. What is so special about a 200
F/5.it's harder to find??? So what!
So what? It's compacter!
Only 75% as much mass, 83% as long, and uses 49 mm filters; all while
focusing just as close as the f/4 (1/10 size). Less than 1 stop slower, but
if speed matters, get the 180/2.8!
But, as always, your choice depends on what matters most to you, and your
pocketbook.
